Axel can’t wait to see more of Bruno

- By DOMINIC BOOTH

AXEL Tuanzebe has been impressed by the way Bruno Fernandes has settled in and admitted he’s excited to see more of him in a United shirt.

Both Fernandes and Tuanzebe have been part of the United warm weather training camp in Marbella as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepares his squad during the winter break for the rest of the season.

Tuanzebe is himself battling back from injury, while Fernandes is looking to build on a positive display on United debut versus Wolves.

“Bruno has been a nice guy, very calm and collected,” Tuanzebe told United’s website.

“He has represented himself well in the short time he has been here, he is very respectful and I wish him a good career at Manchester United.

“I am very excited to see him on the pitch. I have obviously seen clips of him at Sporting and he seemed to be a very integral player for them. Hopefully he can be that for us as well.”

Tuanzebe also welcomed another new boy in Odion Ighalo, who has not joined the training camp but looks to be in line for a debut against Chelsea next Monday.

Asked if was looking forward to facing the former Watford striker in training, Tuanzebe replied: “Yeah, most definitely, because that is how you learn and that is how to improve. I remember my time at Villa – me and Yannick Bolasie, in every training session we were at it!

“That is the only way you improve, when you have really honest people challenging every day. I am very excited to see what [Ighalo] brings to the table. I am sure he is strong and powerful.”
