Support stallholder selling war items with Nazi images

-

I MUST write a letter of support for the stallholder Tina Gayle selling her WW2 items with Nazi images and swastikas on them.

The person and persons who complained really should get a grip on life and should have done some research before trying to get their 15 minutes of fame.

I ask do these moaners not realise you can buy this stuff from eBay and other internet sites so why not off a market stall?

Not wanting to sound like Uncle Albert, but during the war their were good and bad sides and fortunately for us through the bravery, guts, hard work and many giving the ultimate sacrifice we won.

This should never be forgotten! It’s our history, the men and women who fought and died history! What ever books, documentaries, films, museums and anything else that tells us about the war should never be swept under the rug.

Should we stop films like The Dam Busters, The Great Escape, The Dirty Dozen and Schindler’s List being shown?

Do these offend people want history museum’s edited so there is no mentions of the Nazis?

If our forces along with the allies had not won we would have had more swastikas and statues of Adolph than a few on a market stall.

Children would have been reading Mein Kampf and not how the war was won. Well that’s if kids at school do learn about the war.

If we ban this where will it finish? Will we be removing the Union flag or Saint George Cross from view or maybe The Poppy?

People really should stop and think before engaging their mouths I mean I have to ask the question would these people have complained if they found someone with ISIS or other Islamic recruitment material or just walked on by? At a guess they would have walked by because it wouldn’t have been a woman on her own, a easy target to speak of.

But over all I’m more upset that our Charnwood Borough Council has taken the step to actually be so pathetic and bow to the pressure of a few and told the stallholder to remove the so called offending items.

I doubt if Tina Gayle was preaching to people for them to join The Third Reich just a woman trying to make a live.

To be honest I’m offended by the religious groups who peddle their twaddle (in my eyes) around Loughborough and Leicester town centre but I don’t go crying to the authorities about them because last time I looked it was a free country thanks to our parents and grandparents winning World War Two.
