Arts week offers events from history to mystery
VIRTUAL TALKS, WORKSHOPS AND QUIZZES ALL OPEN TO EVERYONE
ARTS events ranging from interviews to quizzes are being laid on virtually from Monday by a university arts organisation.
LU Arts’ programme “celebrates and showcases” Loughborough University’s “creative community”, including academics and students, plus outside artists.
Events are open to all. Vlogs by final year creative arts students and a podcast by Andrew Dix on Loughborough’s cinema history will be available to download free throughout the week from the LU Arts website.
A recording of the final year drama students’ radio play, Mystery at Morton Hall, will be available to download via Facebook.
A spokesman said: “This Golden Age crime play follows a country house weekend filled with scandals, murders and lies.
“As John Foss unintentionally becomes the 13th guest at Lord Addington’s manor, secrets quickly begin to unravel.
“Death strikes for more than one of the guests, but who is responsible?
