Police investigat­ing damage at allotments in the town

POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses after criminal damage was caused to the allotments on Beggars Lane in Leek.

Anyone with any informatio­n please contact 101 quoting incident number 169 of 21/08/19.

Witnesses are also being urged to come forward after a lady sustained an injury while walking around Knypersley Pool on Tuesday, August 20.

The lady approached a dalmatian dog that jumped up causing her an injury. Police are hoping to locate the owners of the dog so they can discuss the incident further.

Informatio­n is required after a man was left with serious head injuries after being assaulted in an alleyway.

At around 11.30pm on Friday, August 2, officers were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service to a report of a man with head injuries following an assault near Biddulph Fish Bar on King Street. It is believed the man may have been struck with a weapon by a group of teenagers who later made off.

Police are appealing for informatio­n after criminal damage was caused to two properties in Biddulph – Springfiel­d Road and Tunstall Road.

Both incidents appear to be linked and the offender is described as a white male wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black jacket.
