Last-four win earns Kent final against Durham

Kent reached the Liberty Trophy final by beating defending champions Northamptonshire 116-94 at Barking.
Team manager Mick Collins was able to name a near full-strength team for the semi-final tie, which Kent won by four rinks to two.
They now meet Durham at Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire on Sunday, April 17.
Former world indoor champion Andy Thomson, who bowls for Cyphers, skipped one of the successful rinks to a 25-10 win, while Swale’s Ian Honnor maintained his unbeaten run in the competition with a 24-14 victory.
Ashford ladies chalked up win No.13 – a 125-115 success at home to Angel, Tonbridge – in their latest Kent League outing on Saturday.
Ann Rutland, Ashley Minter, Chris Breeds and Gill Hawkes followed up their best rink success against Sevenoaks the previous week with another top performance, winning 31-16.
Ashford also won two friendly matches, beating Kent County Patrons 116-113 and Hamstreet 99-69.
Peter Jacobsen, Ray Barton, Peter Arnold, Michael Wright were the best rink against Kent winning 26-16, while Trudie Paine, Clare Cunningham and Arnold took the honours against Hamstreet, 27-17.
