It took great courage for Faith to open up to her children about her terminal illness on Emmerdale. However, Cain’s reaction was utterly appalling! The way he has his been treating his mum is a disgrace. Cain needs to support his mum rather than keep making hurtful comments – otherwise he will regret it. I hope Faith and Cain can build bridges before she passes.

I’ve loved seeing Audrey not only back on-screen, but with a juicy storyline, too. What I don’t understand is why she’s being treated like an idiot by her family! All of the Platts have made mistakes time and time again – so why are they looking down on Audrey so much?

We need to see more of the socalled ‘oldies’ in Corrie. I for one loved the Stillwaters storyline because we got to see Norris, Ken, Claudia and Freda all in one place. Shall we start a petition to bring it back?

I hate what they’ve done to Audrey – she’s a strong woman who’s lived on the cobbles for a lifetime, and her character is being utterly butchered!

It’s a shame there’s a lack of older cast in EastEnders at the moment. And I keep being reminded of that from our classic episodes. There was Dot, Ethel, Peggy, Pat and Frank. The only people they bring in now are teenagers!

While Hollyoaks might be a soap for a younger audience, how can it be that the oldest character is Tony? And again, they make him look like the village idiot. I would say Jack Osborne is the soap elder, but we haven’t seen him in forever!
