Honey’s struggle becomes worryingly clear this week, as her ex-husband Billy realises that she is concealing an eating disorder.

“The truth unravels after Honey ends up going on a date with Mitch on the day of the Walford beauty pageant, which her daughter Janet is competing in,” explains our Albert Square spy. “Mitch and Honey go out for something to eat, and when Honey simply orders a salad, Mitch is quick to pull her up on her choice of light bite – before gossiping about her to Bernadette and Bailey in a conversation that Honey overhears.
“Later on at the pageant,
Billy also picks up on Honey’s worrying attitude to eating and struggles to hide his frustrations,” adds our source. “However, Honey refuses to engage with him on the subject, and makes a point of preparing food for herself and their children in front of Billy – who eventually confronts her with his suspicions.”
After Honey dismisses his claims, Billy takes matters into his own hands and begins to research eating disorders when he is caught by Lola. As he tells his granddaughter what is going on, Billy can’t help but blame himself for Honey’s situation, and vows to help her. However, will she let him?
