Joe orders Graham’s death!

WILL CONNOR COMPLETE THE JOB?

- Kate White

This is the moment when Graham stares death in the face this week – after being taken hostage by Connor. The dangerous fella arrives at Home Farm determined to get revenge on the former soldier, but is confronted by shocked Joe instead. At the mercy of this gun-toting maniac, Joe thinks fast and tells Connor that he wants Graham dead too, and he’ll help set it up. However, will he live to regret betraying his old friend so completely?

“It’s obvious that Joe stitched up Graham, and he’s hurt,” shares Andrew Scarborough, aka Graham. “There was an element of trust that was destroyed when he beat Joe up while drunk, but they’ve been trying to rebuild it. Unfortunately, though, the issue with Joe and Debbie’s pre-nup is making things tense, and there’s a lot of fragility in their relationship.”

Ever since Debbie agreed to marry Joe, Graham has made it his mission to protect his boss’ business interests. He’s been fighting for a pre-nup, despite Joe insisting that it’s not necessary. To silence the whole subject, Joe has forged Debbie’s signature on the legal document, but Graham has rumbled him. That’s put the two men at odds once again.

“I think Graham is right to want this pre-nup, given what the Dingles are like!” explains Andrew. “Joe could potentially lose everything, and Graham wants him to be in a strong position if anything bad was to happen with the Dingles or Debbie. He’s quite heavyhanded with his advice.”

We know Graham and Joe’s bond is deep, so it seems a minor thing to tip the Tate fella over the edge. Nevertheless, when Connor arrives at Home Farm, Joe is quick to stab Graham in the back.

“Connor wants revenge because of what Graham did to him before – which remains a mystery because it happened off-screen,” teases Andrew. “On a whim, Joe thinks this is the solution to his problem with Graham too. But he hasn’t thought this through and then

starts to backtrack because there’s still love between them. It’s kind of messed-up!”

Despite Joe’s frantic calls to Connor, the trap they’ve laid at Home Farm catches Graham. Soon, he’s bound and gagged, and at the mercy of a man who wants him dead. Is this when Graham thinks it’s all over?

“Well, he’s naturally fearful of what might happen!” admits Andrew. “But, he’s also trained to the hilt and been in the SAS. He’s always assessing the situation and how to get out of it. If Graham survives, I don’t think his friendship with Joe will ever be the same again. There’s still a lot of love and respect there, but it’s quickly ripping apart at the seams.”

What Andrew can promise is that we are set for some thrilling action as Joe and Graham’s issues are laid bare.

“It’s going to be wonderfully entertaining, and it’s going to be a super week where things unravel, things make sense,” he promises. “A lot of things are sewn up, and a lot of things are opened. So, we don’t know what will happen next, but it’s going to be tremendous and dramatic and must-see TV!”
