Thrilled to be expecting baby number two
Millie Mackintosh last week announced the happy news that she and Hugo Taylor are expecting a second child later this year – but, this time around, things are a bit different. “Being pregnant with a one-year-old is a whole different ball game!” she revealed.
The couple, who introduced Sienna to the world in hello! after her birth 13 months ago, said: “We are so excited to announce that Sienna is going to be a big Sister! I couldn’t keep this to myself for much longer and I’m running out of ways to hide my bump!” Spotted out on a walk with Sienna during the heatwave, Millie was certainly showing the first hints of her bump in a flowing floral midi dress,
keeping cool in a stylish fedora as she strolled in a park showing no hint of the exhaustion she has been experiencing.
Millie, 31, who suffered from morning sickness and insomnia in the first three months, said on Instagram: “Some days I struggled to focus or function…”
She’s also been experiencing cravings. “My hunger levels have been crazy. During my first trimester I needed to eat the minute I woke up and was waking up in the night starving. I keep rice cakes by my bed – it’s a primal hunger that you just can’t ignore. I’ve also had to eat smaller meals more often so I don’t get hungry and then feel sick. I’ve been craving a mix of sweet and savoury, Hawaiian pizzas with extra pineapple, chicken sausages with ketchup, egg-fried rice with sweet chilli sauce – you get the picture.”
Millie and Hugo intend to find out the sex of the baby, which, they admit, “took us a bit by surprise”. “I thought we would have a bigger age gap…” she said. “But I’m so glad they will be close in age and hopefully really close.”

She also joked “lucky Hugo”, as she admitted her “emotions have been all over the place; I’m teary, grumpy and full of mood swings”.
But during a recent family holiday to the seaside, Millie won praise from her husband, 35, who took to Instagram to write: “Grateful for this beautiful life, my wonderful wife and Sunny days in Devon,” alongside a sunlit snap of the couple.
Millie recently told hello! how becoming parents had strengthened her bond with her former Made in Chelsea co- star Hugo, whom she married in a stunning English country gardenthemed wedding three years ago, covered exclusively by hello!.
“Hugo and I have got a really good friendship and that just feels even stronger now we’ve had Sienna,” she told us. “We’ve gone through this amazing experience together. It’s made us feel like a really strong unit. Seeing him as a dad makes me really proud.”
Now, they can look forward to many more precious moments as a family of four. “I just feel so lucky and overwhelmed with happiness,” she said.
