‘We have been in a love bubble ever since’
Hands up if you’re loving life,” Marvin Humes captioned a recent picture of his wife Rochelle doting on their newborn baby boy. It’s clear the family are deeply in love with the latest addition to their family, Blake Hampton Humes. Their muchanticipated third child arrived last week and the TV presenting duo were quick to share the happy news with their fans.
Alongside pictures of their son, Rochelle wrote, “On Friday morning at 8.44am, our boy arrived to flip the switch on 2020. I didn’t think I’d ever fall in love with another man, but this guy has stolen my whole heart and we’ve been in a love bubble ever since...” Marvin recently joked to heat that he was looking forward to having a boy as he was, “completely overrun by women” at home, so it’s no wonder he couldn’t contain his joy, writing on his own Instagram post, “My son! My son! Feels so weird but amazing saying that. Blake Hampton Humes was born on Friday weighing eight pounds, two ounces. Rochelle is a superwoman… family complete.”
They weren’t the only ones over the moon with the arrival of the baby boy, as the couple shared snaps of their two daughters – Alaia-mai, seven, and Valentina, three – snuggling up to their little brother in their parents’ bed. Keen to share her experience with fans, Rochelle spoke on her Instagram stories about her first week with baby Blake, saying, “Just completely forgot how wonderful this baby bubble is and how obsessed you get with these small little people.” She also joked about how little she was managing to get done, saying, “Today I’ve had a bath, washed my hair. I got out of pyjamas… put more pyjamas on. But I feel quite productive that I’ve managed to get kids in school, pump, breastfeed, shower myself. It feels like a proper accomplishment.”
The mum of three also shared the news that she was “properly breastfeeding”, having struggled to do the same with her two girls. “It’s sore, but I’m sticking with it,” she said, before sharing recommendations for nipple covers and laughing, “Oh the glamour.” Congratulations, Humes family!
