Ingredients Makes 4

● 1 red onion, peeled and thinly sliced ● 1tbsp rapeseed oil (store cupboard) ● 2 Asda Extra Special Sirloin Steaks, at room temperature ● 1 clove of garlic, crushed ● 60g bag rocket ● 4 ciabatta rolls

1 Heat 2 tsp of the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Cook the onion, stirring regularly for 6-8mins, until it’s beginning to soften. Take out of the pan and set aside.

2 Heat the rest of the oil in the frying pan over a high heat. Pat the steaks dry and season with black pepper.

3 Sear the fat of the sirloin in the pan until golden, then cook the steaks for 2mins on one side. Reduce the heat and add the garlic to the pan. Turn the steaks over and cook for a further 2mins, or 4mins for well done.

4 Take the pan off the heat and let the steaks rest for 10mins before slicing.

5 Halve the ciabatta rolls and toast until golden. Brush each roll with a little of the pan juices and top with the sliced steak, onions and rocket.
