Leo’s double chin hell
He’ll do whatever it takes to get rid of it
As we all know, actors couldn’t care less about how they look. Just kidding – they’re the worst. But some A-listers are apparently vainer than others, with friends telling heat that Leonardo Dicaprio had a behind-the-scenes meltdown last week over his – wait for it – double chin.
“Leo was trying all sorts to get rid of his double chin,” says an insider close to the 43-year-old actor. “He doesn’t want to have surgery, but he’s trying all kinds of other contortions and inventions to tackle the problem. He’s been doing exercises and using special masks and facial massagers. He’s also trying out expensive beauty products, as well as natural remedies like egg whites and olive oil.”
This follows Leo’s awkward retouching fail last week. After Sony Pictures released a picture from Leo’s upcoming movie, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (right), it was revealed that they’d done some Photoshopping on Leo’s jawline area. They quickly released a statement insisting, “The actors did not request any retouching of photography. We take full responsibility for the error,” but, we’re told, the incident has left the actor feeling a bit insecure. We’re told, “Leo’s pretty confident. He can deal with having a bit of a gut, that doesn’t bother him, but his chin does. It’s his biggest body hang-up, especially now people have started noticing it. He’s happy to try weird and wacky treatments if they get rid of it.”
See, Leo – this is what happens when you spend your downtime living it up on yachts, surrounded by 22-year-old blonde models. n
