Lottery funding was a great gift

Sometimes God surprises you! Recently at Cadzow Parish Church we were surprised when we won our bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund.

We needed funds to repair the roof and heritage generously provided!

Part of our bid was the development of what we’re calling the Cadzow Hub Project and, over the next few years, the church is going to become a“hub”for the musical and performing arts.

With a special focus on organ and choir music, we’re hoping to provide a space for musicians of every stripe to use the building for rehearsal and performance.

Anyone who has ever heard music at Cadzow knows the church is ideal for it and the high ceilings provide for great acoustics. But, this isn’t just about us, it’s for the whole community and we would like to invite you to come have a look and a listen.

This Saturday, August 26, 1pm to 4pm we’re holding a kick-off event and funfair.

We’ll start things off in the church at 1pm and get to hear some great music and learn a bit more about the project.

Then at 1.30pm we’re having a fun-fair on the church grounds with a bouncy castle, tombola, sponge-toss and live music from“j.c. and the Son-shine Band.”it’s a great day out for the whole family and a chance to see what God has in surprise for us all.
