EG Murray is a family business, headed by owner Gerry Murray and his son Antony Murray, along with their team Tom Flanigan, Tracey Mcbride and Abigail Mckenzie, with Gerry’s wife Angela providing continuous support from day one.

Antony said: “I am very proud of my dad reaching such a milestone. The fact that so many clients have stayed with us over the years shows what a great reputation he has built.

Based at 7 Victoria Place in Airdrie, the company is an independen­t consultanc­y providing specialist business insurance, employee benefits and financial planning advice.

The company offer a number of services to their private and business clients, with much support currently being given to local businesses for pension automatic enrolments.

Local businessma­n Ronnie Docherty, managing director of Ronald Docherty Civil Engineerin­g, said: “We really value dealing with local businesses and the personal touch that EG Murray give.

“They have been our broker for around 30 years and we’re delighted with their service.”

The company are proud to be celebratin­g 40 years in business and have used the occasion to focus on raising funds for St Andrew’s Hospice.

Louise O’donnell, the hospice’s deputy head of fundraisin­g, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the support given to us by EG Murray over the years and are delighted with their latest initiative to help the hospice as part of their celebratio­ns.”
