It scored near perfect marks in our grating, slicing and chopping tests, with almost no wastage, and it processed foods evenly, too. We loved the adjustable slicing disc and the inclusion of a spiralising disc and a dicing attachment. The blades and discs can be stowed in the storage box. It produced light, airy cakes and turned out perfectly short pastry in our tests. It has two speeds, a standard pulse button and responsive controls.

It grated, sliced, chopped, puréed, kneaded, mixed, whisked and blended ingredients with very little waste. It’s great at multitasking and comes with a blender and plenty of attachments. However, they do not all fit neatly inside the bowl when not in use.
