It produced light, airy cakes and turned out perfectly short pastry in our tests. It has two speeds, a standard pulse button and responsive controls.
BUDGET BUY Andrew James Food Processor with Blender AJ001326 £39.99; andrewjamesworldwide.com 92/100
Features: Dimensions: H38 x W21.5 x D24cm, 3.8kg, 700W Accessories: 2L processor bowl, lid with chute, plunger, drive shaft, blade adapter, disc holder, shredder disc, French fry disc, slicing disc, chopping blade, kneading blade, emulsifying disc, 1.8L blender jar, blender lid with bung Verdict: A compact, reasonably priced model that doesn’t compromise on performance. It grated, sliced, chopped, puréed, kneaded, mixed, whisked and blended ingredients with very little waste. It’s great at multitasking and comes with a blender and plenty of attachments. However, they do not all fit neatly inside the bowl when not in use.
