Maybe if the police made more arrests and busted more doors things would be better. If the police had fewer low- level informants who act and carry on their shady dealings with impunity under their protection, we would have less “crime families, king pins, drug lords, Mr Bigs”. Everyone knows who they are, yet the police can’t make anything stick to them.

This will be a huge loss to see this cinema chain go under for good, putting all these people out of a job. I hope it will only be a short- time measure and that they will open up again soon.

Could the Odeon and Vue cinema chain of cinemas also be forced to close for good due to the Covid- 19 pandemic? What will we all do without our cinemas to go to?

She did wrong, she knows she did wrong and she will pay the price with regards to any personal or political ambitions she may have had. Hopefully she will make a full recovery from Covid and will return to full health.

But I don’t see any value in continuing to hound and berate her. I have no time for her political party and their beliefs but everyone is entitled to their opinion. But as a person she should not be hounded any further. I have never known or heard of anyone who hasn’t made a mistake or error of judgement. The fact people are in the public eye makes no difference other than that when they do err it serves their opponents. Leave the lady alone.
