Worried about getting to the shops for your Glasgow Times? You can get it delivered...
HERE at the Glasgow Times we know how important our newspaper is to the city we serve. We campaign to make things better, highlight injustices and hold our politicians and public bodies to account. We are THE trusted source of news in this great city of Glasgow.
And in recent days, our unrivalled coverage of the coronavirus pandemic has meant that our readers have been better informed than anyone as to what exactly is going on – and the impact the virus is having in our communities.
But our role is about to become even more important. In an era in which self-isolating becomes more and more common, we could be the only link to the outside world for many of our most loyal readers.
We’re exploring what we can do to help keep you busy – possibly adding extra pages of puzzles and more great reads (even if the football coverage might have to change a bit while the games are off).
Please give me feedback on what you’d like to see by emailing callum.baird@glasgowtimes.co.uk – I’ll do my best to respond to everything.
We also want to remind you that you can get your copy of the paper without having to go out to the shop. A third of Glasgow Times readers get this paper delivered for free every day – saving themselves the trip.
For the elderly and those at high risk of contracting the virus, this could be a really good to way to stay informed.
