CASTLEMILK singer Gerry Cinnamon has urged his fans not to buy from ticket touts ahead of his two sold-out shows at the Barrowland this weekend.

The star, who has cult following in the city, is due to play the East End venue today and Saturday – and briefs for the show sold out in hours.

Earlier this week, Cinna- mon announced last minute tickets for each night via the website Ticketmaster. He released 50 briefs each for both nights which sold-out in a minute.

He then urged his fans: “Tickets sold out in less than a minute. Ticketmaster links now taking you to a tout site.

“F**k the touts and f**k this website. I’m going to book a tour soon. Don’t buy from these g***s.”

The folk singer, who grew up in Castlemilk, released his debut album Erratic Cinematic earlier this year which shot to the top of the iTunes chart.

He previously played Saint Luke’s in the city and the first ever TRNSMT festival at the Glasgow Green.

He will return to the festival on Saturday, June 30 when Liam Gallagher headlines TRNSMT.

Gerry first rose to fame in 2014 and has built an army of fans that has grown with every performance.

The musician mixes together beat-up acoustic guitars, soulful harmonica and heartfelt vocals along with loop pedal harmonies and kick drums.
