RAMS RATINGS

-

DAVID MARSHALL 8

Important point-blank save from Dominic Solanke on the stroke of half-time having been untested to that point, the sign of a good keeper. Two excellent saves in the second half to preserve the slender lead. What a signing he is proving to be.

NATHAN BYRNE 7

Better performance than against Cardiff City. Looked more positive in his forays forward and determined in his defending.

MIKE TE WIERIK 7

Recalled to the team and a big chance to impress. A good solid performance. CURTIS DAVIES 7

Experience crucial again. MATT CLARKE 8

Terrific desire and determination to defend, brilliant defending late on to deny Solanke.

LEE BUCHANAN 6

Steady performance but got caught going towards the ball rather watching Riquelme on Bournemouth’s equaliser. Saw a shot blocked on the line by Steve Cook late on with Derby claiming hand ball.

GRAEME SHINNIE 8

First goal of the season and only Derby’s second from open play in the League. The balance and unselfish work he adds to the team is vital.

JASON KNIGHT 8

Booked after only two minutes. That could have affected him but didn’t. Still full of energy, drive and determination. Won the free kick which the home side failed to clear for Shinnie to score.

MARTYN WAGHORN 7

Typical hard-working performance for the team. Used in a couple of positions and stuck to his task

WAYNE ROONEY 6

Back after a three-game absence. Involved early on as Derby’s quick start pushed Bournemouth back, replaced after an hour.

TOM LAWRENCE 6

Really bright start when he gave Bournemouth problems in a central attacking role between Waghorn and Rooney.

SUBSTITUTES

Duane Holmes (for Rooney, 61) 6 Andre Wisdom (for te Wierik, 81) Louie Sibley (for Waghorn, 90+2)
