Drivers are given points for speeding
THE following drivers had their licences endorsed with penalty points for speeding by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court.
■Anam Ali, 20, of Burton Road, Branston, Burton, was fined £40 and given three points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Woodland Road, Stanton, Swadlincote, on February 15.
■Jonathan Cooper, 24, of Browning Street, Sunny Hill, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 50mph in a 40mph limit in Harvey Road, Derby, on February 21.
■Wayne Gorey, 39, of Richmond Avenue, Sandiacre, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Ball Lane, Thulston, on February 12.
■Georgia Hunt, 26, of Anglia Drive, Church Gresley, was fined £68 and given three points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Woodland Road, Swadlincote, on February 12.
■Andrew Chetwynd, 52, of Richmond Avenue, Breaston, was fined £107 and given three points for speeding in excess of the 30mph limit in Longmoor Lane, Sandiacre, on February 13.
■James Marshall, 37, of Warwick Drive, Ilkeston, was fined £300 and given six points for speeding at 57mph in a 30mph limit in Ladywood Road, Kirk Hallam, on February 26.
■Sean Marshall, 57, of Wellesley Avenue, Littleover, was fined £76 and given three points for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit in Blagreaves Lane, Littleover, on May 19.
■Filip Nistor, 47, of Rose Hill Street, Normanton, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 47mph in a 40mph limit in Harvey Road, Derby, on February 19.
■Stephen Relton, 53, of Talbot Place, Donisthorpe, was fined £153 and given three points for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit in Acresford Road, Overseal, on February 24.
■Suhair Ayoub, 43, of Goose Nook Close, Ilkeston, was fined £115 and given three points for speeding at 59mph in a 50mph limit on the M1 at Breaston on February 28.
■Nicholas Brenton, 58, of Warner Street, Derby, was fined £220 and given three points for speeding at 63mph in a 50mph limit on the M1 at Breaston on March 3.
■Adam Gullett, 37, of Town Street, Sandiacre, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance or a valid MOT certificate and for speeding at 44mph in a 30mph limit in Nottingham Road, Borrowash, all on May 30.
