ALISSON BIG MISS

- ■ by CHRIS MCKENNA

LIVERPOOL goalkeeper Alisson could be out until April after suffering a hip injury.

Boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed the Brazilian, 27, will miss today’s Anfield clash with Bournemouth as well as Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid.

Alisson ( inset) is also a major jor doubt for the Merseyside derby clash at Everton on Monday week.

Klopp expects his No. 1 to only be fully fit after the international break and said:

“He had a little incident in training before the Chelsea game.

“We thought, ‘ Come on, we don’t have to take any risks’ and so we left him out of the squad.

“There was a scan the next day and they found something so now he is out. We will see next week for sure.

“It’s a slight muscle problem in the hip region. I don’t want to say no but I don’t know if he will be available for the Merseyside derby. He is not available for Bournemouth and then the next week.

“We have to judge the situation anew. I would say after the international inte break 100 per cent. ce Whatever we can get before b that we will see.” Alisson missed nine Premier League games at the th start of the season and fre free summer signing Adrian step stepped in to impress. Klopp added: “The goalkeeper situation is not comfortable, of course, but we have Adrian and we have Andy Lonergan.

“Adrian has made some super performances so while it’s not good when a player of the quality of Ali is not available it is good that we have a replacement.”
