Trump blast at ‘biased’ media
ANGER: President DONALD Trump has launched a furious attack on the Press – claiming it is the “enemy of the people”.
The US President said the media was “dishonest” and guilty of “extreme bias” against him.
Mr Trump, 72, has been dogged by allegations of extra-marital affairs and plotting with Russia.
He tweeted yesterday: “I just cannot state strongly enough how dishonest much of the media is.
“Truth doesn’t matter to them, they only have their hatred and agenda. Enemy of the People!”
He called for top US media chief Jeff Zucker to be sacked by CCN parent company AT&T for peddling “fake news”.
Mr Trump wrote: “The hatred and extreme bias of me by @CNN has clouded their thinking”
Mr Zucker, 53, took a six-week leave of absence to undergo heart surgery earlier this year.
Trump also claimed NBC news president Andy Lack was about to lose his job.
He wrote: “The good news is Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired(?) for incompetence. When Lester Holt got caught fudging my tape on Russia, they were hurt!”

But kinder fans defended the Duchess of Sussex’s glamorous look.
One wrote: “She looks absolutely beautiful! Elegant & up to date.”
Another added: “She looks stunning in that outfit.”
Meanwhile it emerged that Meghan’s wardrobe is altered to avoid a malfunction while on engagements.
Her tops and dresses are fitted with tiny weights designed to prevent winds blowing them up or exposing too much cleavage, which could embarrass the Queen.
The alterations are standard procedure for Royal Family members.
