- By the way, James isn’t with his ex

TWO weeks ago I came home to find my girlfriend in bed with another woman.

They were naked and so engrossed in their lovemaking that they didn’t notice me for ages.

When my girl finally opened her eyes she screamed like a scalded cat and the two of them scrambled under the duvet.

Now she’s acting as if I’m the unreasonable one. I’ve told her I refuse to compete with another woman. If she’d been with another man, I might have understood. But the woman from down the road who used to turn tricks for a fiver? Forget it.

My girl says she’s confused about her sexuality and doesn’t know if she fancies me any more.

I’m so angry about her betrayal that I’ve told her to move out. She says I’m being disloyal and childish and has apologised only for being caught. JANE SAYS: Your girlfriend may not feel she’s actually betrayed you because she had sex with another woman.

But cheating is cheating and she has to take responsibility for that. The minute she got naked with another human being in your bed, she crossed a line.

No-one forced her to kiss that girl. She did it of her own free will and now you have every reason to feel upset.

Maybe if she won’t physically leave then you need to get away yourself to think long and hard about what you want and where you go from here.

If you can forgive and forget and she can bring herself to say “sorry”, then maybe you can have a future together.

But if she’s into women now and not inclined to apologise for her actions, then you’ll have to find an adult way of splitting up and moving on.

Whatever happens, you must not allow this incident to make you bitter or drag you down.

?? ?? If you don’t leave James alone I’ll tell him what you’ve done with me, OK? How could you, you rat! What? What on earth am I going to do?
