ON CLOUD NINE: Fury was still in fine voice WORLD boxing champion Tyson Fury arrived back in Britain yesterday – and eyed up a Christmas No 1.
The fighter wants to cash in by releasing a version of Aerosmith’s I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing.
Fury serenaded pregnant wife Paris with the ballad while still in the ring, after beating Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday in front of 50,000 people in Dusseldorf.
And fans reckon it would rocket straight to the top of the charts.
Tyson docked in Hull yesterday after his £5million pay-day victory.
He continued to entertain his fans on his journey home from Rotterdam by singing songs and posting them online. Now punters think that Fury will make the most of his new boxing fame and glory in the recording studio.
Bookies have slashed the odds on him releasing a song that beats The X Factor to be Christmas No 1.
Ladbrokes have Fury, 27, at 5-1 to bring out an album and 10-1 to have a UK single before the end of 2016.
He is 50-1 to top the charts with a Christmas single.
Fans are desperate to see their brawling hero become a chart topper.
Daniel Roche tweeted: “I hope @Tyson_Fury is bringing out a christmas album #XmasNumber1.”
And Carl Gaffney wrote: “All we need now is for you to release an album and the jobs a good un, congrats champ.”
Fury opted to sail overnight from Germany to England rather than jump on a private jet.
On his boat journey, aboard a P&O Pride of Bruges Ferry, the 6ft 9in scrapper posed for pictures with fans. Fury later uploaded a video of himself on the car journey from the port rapping along to Dr Dre and Eminem’s hit Forgot About Dre.
Last night he was 9-2 behind Andy Murray and Jessica Ennis-Hill to be named Sports Personality of the Year.
But he said: “They won’t let me win it. I am too controversial and outspoken for that to happen.”
