He said: “My mum comes to the fights but doesn’t watch, so I told her I’m not flying her out to Vegas and sitting her ringside if she’s not going to watch. My dad usually comes and sits ringside but he’s staying at home because he’s volunteered to look after the dogs.
“We got two puppies that are still pretty boisterous. I’ve got a French Bulldog called Watson and a Boxer called Maddox. They need attention, so my dad’s in charge of that.” Groves will have wife Sophie in the MGM Grand Garden Arena, however, as he looks to put behind him the memories
of losing to Carl Froch twice.
