OJ chase one of best
THE 30 best chases ever have been rated by film fans.
And the list even includes OJ Simpson being tailed across Los Angeles by police who wanted to arrest him over the murder of his wife.
Other big names to feature include Steve McQueen in Bullitt and Keanu Reeves for his skydiving antics in the all-action surfing flick Point Break.
There’s even a place in the run-down for the Reebok trainers ad in which a man is chased round the streets by a giant beer gut. A Sky One spokesman said: “This show will remind people that the screen ■ chase isn’t just about screeching tyres and revving motors but plasticine penguins and bloated bellies too.
“This poll celebrates a race against time which has always been a favourite thing among film and telly fans.
“This is the type of show that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.”
Others include Matrix: Reloaded’s highway car chase and Night Of The Living Dead’s Zombie chase from 1968. ● Greatest Ever Screen Chases is on tonight at 9pm on Sky One.
