FOUR Premier League stars have been slated for attending a Covid rule-breaking party.

Tottenham trio Giovani Lo Celso, Erik Lamela and Sergio Reguilon and their families met up at the indoor Christmas celebration.

West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini was also spotted among at least 15 adults and three children at the bash – believed to have been held at Lo Celso’s home in Tier 4 London.

Both Spurs and West Ham have said they are “disappointed” by the players’ actions and are investigating.

A Spurs statement read: “We are extremely disappointed and strongly condemn this image showing some of our players with family and friends together at Christmas.

“Particularly as we know the sacrifices everybody around the country made to stay safe over the festive period.

“The rules are clear, there are no exceptions, and we regularly remind all our players and staff about the latest protocols and their responsibilities to adhere and set an example.”

It added: “The matter will be dealt with internally.” West Ham also released a statement, which said: “The Club has set the highest possible standards with its protocols and measures relating to Covid-19, so we are disappointed to learn of Manuel Lanzini’s actions.

“The matter has been dealt with internally and Manuel has been strongly reminded of his responsibilities.”

The gathering is believed to have taken place in Lo Celso’s house as replicas of the

Ligue 1 and Coupe de la Ligue trophies, which he won during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, are seen in the background. It is not clear where the house is, but an

Instagram post in the same home on New Year’s Eve tagged his location in the capital. The Government’s Tier 4 rules specify that “you must not meet socially indoors with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble”.
