No Limit to their talent

90s STARS SHINING AGAIN

-

GET ready to relive the

1990s with former chart toppers 2 Unlimited

all over again.

Ray Slijngaard and vocalist Anita Doth scored 16 mega hits between

1991 & 96, including the best-selling tune of 1993, No Limit. Now back in the UK as part of a We Love 90s tour, they are plotting an album with some of the world’s biggest DJs. Rapper Ray told me: “Without 2 Unlimited people like Armand Van Buuren would not have started, so I’m trying to get these guys to help us make a new record for 2021.

“That’s the year we have a

30th anniversary.

“I’m asking David Guetta because we used to go out together back in the day. He loved our music and because of us he started producing.

“We want to release a remix album, get DJ Snake on it Martin Garrix, Guetta, all these people.”

On top of that, Ray is plotting a movie about the

1990s dance culture and their up and downs.

He explained: “I wrote a book about that era in Dutch two years ago and now I want to do a film of the book.

“We are talking in the States with directors about turning it into a Netflix series.”

Anita no longer tours with Ray but he has a replacement “who looks exactly like her”.

And, of course, on the We Love 90s Tour they are rubbing shoulders with fellow legends of the era.

Ray laughed: “Now it’s different, there is no rivalry. It’s all about sleeping good.”

The We Love 90s tour, featuring the likes of Snap! and Vengaboys, continues at London’s Wembley Arena on Wednesday.
