NICOLE Scherzinger has rubbished plans for a Spice Girls comeback without Mel C and Posh.

The former Pussycat Doll reckons the reunion would be “weird” with just Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B.

Ginger, Baby and Scary Spice are planning new music as girl power group GEM.

But X Factor judge Scherzy believes 5 becoming 3 won’t work in the same way as their smash hit 2 Become 1 did back in 1996. Nicole said: “What’s happening? Are they having another reunion? Why isn’t Mel C doing it? Mel C should do it. I think that at least four of them should do it.

“I don’t know about just three of them, I think that’s a little bit weird. I think either Mel C should do it, all of them do it together or they don’t do it at all. Three isn’t enough.”

As the lead singer of world-conquering band The Pussycat Dolls, Nicole is girl group royalty.

The sex kittens sold more than 15million albums worldwide and went on to have eight top 10 singles in the UK including two No.1s. But Nicole ruled out a similar PCD comeback any time soon, adding: “I’m focused on my solo music and achieving what I believe I was born to do.”

Talking of Spice Girls, Mel B last night refused to apologise for calling Sporty and Posh “bitches” for not re-forming.

When asked if she regretted her tongue-incheek outburst, she added: “No. They are my bitches.” NICOLE was having a few problems with the heat while filming X Factor Judges Houses in Nice this week.

The singer was having to, in her own words, “fan her fanny” between filming breaks.

At one point Nicole was wafting her fan up her low cut dress while one member of her team fanned her face and another styled her hair.

With Calvin Harris sat stumped beside her, she kept giggling: “I’m just fanning my fanny guys, just fanning my fanny.”

Trust me, she knows what it means to us Brits.
