CAM AND GET A WIN

- By gaRRy owen

LE CAMELEON (2.05) can just shade the competitive AtTheRaces Handicap Chase at Fontwell.

Jane Williams’ horse showed a willing attitude to deny Northern Bound on his return at Warwick.

That race is working out extremely well so the gelding can defy a 5lb hike for his thriving trainer.

HARLEM SOUL (1.05) can call the tune for shrewd Syd Hosie in the Market Mover

Chase. The gelding can shrug off a 7lb penalty for routing

Dock Road on his fencing debut at Wincanton.

HITCHING JACKING (12.25) can keep the Dan Skelton bandwagon rolling at Uttoxeter. The five-year-old was a superb second to Moon Hunter on his first run over hurdles at Wincanton.

The gelding clearly has a bright future so he can open his account against some promising rivals.

Nigel Twiston-Davies is also flying so I’m backing EQUINUS (12.55) in the maiden hurdle.

The gelding can thrive over timber after his fine second to Bowenspark on debut in a bumper here.

The QuinnBet Handicap Hurdle looks very trappy but I’m going for SYMBOLIC SPIRIT (1.55).

Amy Murphy’s mare improved again when a fine second to Eventful over two miles at Southwell.

It all points to Brian Barr’s BEGIN THE LUCK (2.25) in the Signs 2000 Handicap Hurdle. The six-year-old stayed on track with a creditable second to Bashful over course and distance.

COBBLERS DREAM (2.55) can give his rivals a kicking for Ben Case in the novices’ chase.

The useful hurdler was a fair second to the talented Gowel Road on his fencing bow at

Ascot. The gelding is nicely unexposed in this sphere so he can go one better in a weaker contest.

QUICK DRAW (3.25) looks deadly for Nicky Henderson in the quinnbet.com Handicap Chase. The six-year-old was a respectable second to Dalamoi on his return to fences at Kempton.

The gelding should be primed so he can land another decent contest for his leading trainer.
