It’s not hard to see why Ian might be reluctant to take relationship advice from Max, but he should really listen when his business partner tells him that he needs to stop trusting Sharon and go to the doctor for tests.

Meanwhile, Kathy is also worried about her son’s health, and her concern leaves Sharon feeling guilty. The would-be poisoner rings Phil to say she’s not sure she can go through with their plan, but her co-conspirator strengthens her resolve by talking about Denny’s ordeal – and then says he will he get something stronger to finish Ian off.

However, when Sharon tells Ian she’s making him a special dinner, he’s initially wary – until his wife suggests they can also consummate their marriage. So, the stage is all set and Phil assures Sharon he will be there for her. But can she really go through with it – and will Ian just tuck in?

Elsewhere, it’s Mick’s birthday and he’s worried when he doesn’t hear from Tina, who normally never forgets his big day. He takes some of his anxiety out on Frankie when she tries to talk to him about Katy, which leaves his daughter rethinking her future. After seeing Phil and Denise discussing Raymond, Mick does some thinking of his own about long-lost children – but as Ben announces Frankie has already left for Australia, has Mick missed his chance?
