BY DAVID MADDOCK JURGEN KLOPP has revealed a mantra nicked from the All Blacks helped his sides conquer the football world.

The Liverpool manager takes his champions to the Etihad tonight, looking turn a title winning-season into a record-breaking one.

With the league won he insists there will be no let up from his side because of the lesson he learned from rugby’s most famous and successful team when he first started out as a manager at Mainz.

He said: “As long as you wear this shirt, less than 100 per cent is not allowed. It’s not my phrase, it came from the All Blacks.

“In 2001 or 2002, my first pre-season as a manager, I saw that in a documentary for the All Blacks and I kept that always for myself.

“I was completely impressed by these big fellas, they spoke about their past and what it meant to them

MANCHESTER CITY boss Pep Guardiola says Liverpool were right to rebuke their fans for breaking lockdown to celebrate the title.

Guardiola, whose mum died of the virus, said: “You have to be careful out of respect for the people who still risk their lives.

“You celebrate the Premier League because it’s important, but not now. The scientists still say we have to be careful.”

DWIGHT GAYLE, Sean Longstaff, Miguel Almiron and Valentino Lazaro fired Newcastle to a 4-1 rout of Bournemouth. Although second bottom, boss Eddie Howe said: “We can get out of the position we are in.”

Arsenal 4, Norwich 0; Bournemouth 1, Newcastle 4; Everton 2, Leicester 1; West Ham 3, Chelsea 2.
