Knife yob terrorised three girlfriends
A THUG who bragged about stabbing her former lovers was yesterday jailed for more than two years.
Emma Bamford attacked Angela Kinney, Stacey Jenkins and Emma Tominay in a number of incidents between April 2008 and January 2018.
Bamford admitted to one partner that she had stabbed “every lassie she had ever been with”.
The 30-year-old subjected ex-girlfriends to knife attacks and brutal beatings out of nowhere.
Two of her lovers described their relationship with Bamford as being “like Jekyll and Hyde” and Hollyoaks.
A jury at Glasgow Sheriff Court found her guilty last month to assaulting the three women. Angela was assaulted to her severe injury, while Stacey and Emma were attacked to their injury by Bamford.
Sheriff Joan Kerr locked Bamford up for 28 months, saying: “What I want to make clear is the offending you were found guilty of was to gain power and control.”
Angela moved in with Bamford at her house in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow, in 2018. She said of one incident: “I remember her on top of me with a knife and I was begging her not to stab me. I tried to get away and she stabbed me on the back - she had a crazy look in her eye.”
Other blade assaults followed. Angela, 38, said: “She shut the door and she had two knives in her hands and said you’re not going anywhere. I remember the two of us fighting and blood everywhere.”
Angela added: “I was terrified, I couldn’t live like this any more - it was complete Jekyll and Hyde. She was a nightmare.”
Emma was slapped on the face and stabbed in the leg by Bamford in incidents between 2015 and 2018.
She was also punched, locked in a cupboard and choked before being chased with a knife.
Stacey said that she was assaulted on various occasions by Bamford during their on-off relationship between 2008 and 2012.
