Buffoon Boris has few friends here

-

WITH about as much stealth as a Zeppelin airship, Boris Johnson sneaked into Scotland yesterday.

By staying airside at Aberdeen Airport he avoided a proper welcome and a little scrutiny by the public and the press.

Apart from a few populist pics with a hen party he appears to have met no ordinary human beings before being whisked off to an invitation-only fundraiser with Ross Thomson MP.

You can see why Operation A**e, the Scottish Tory stop-Boris campaign, held its fire. A lonely welcome from the most right-wing and pro-Brexit of the cohort of Scottish Tory MPs is enough to tell Johnson there’s little love for him in Scotland even amongst his own people.

It’s the worst-kept secret in Scotland that Ruth Davidson is desperate to stop bozo BoJo from becoming Tory leader. She thinks she can become First Minister, but Johnson as Prime Minister would ensure that didn’t happen.

He presided over the notorious Brexit bus lies about £350million a week for the NHS. He’s the worst Foreign Secretary this country has ever endured. But more than that, he is the most insincere and unprincipled politician in an era marked by those disastrous traits.

It’s no wonder he didn’t want to face the Daily Record yesterday.

If blundering Boris can’t look the Scottish public in the eye, what are the prospects of this tin-eared clown making any attempt to understand or listen to the nation should he ever, shudder at the thought, become PM?
