Row over salty Ruby Murray ends in foul-mouthed rant

aN iNDiaN takeaway worker sent abusive text messages to an unhappy customer in a row over a prawn curry.

Mohammed Jabbir Sabur was furious over a negative review of his family’s shop, The Curry Pot.

He warned Rachael Luff that he knew where she lived and called her a “stupid motherf **** r”.

Yesterday, a shocked sheriff told Sabur : “It’s a pretty remarkable way to behave when you’re trying to run a business.”

Dunfermlin­e Sheriff Court heard the row began when Rachael said her meal was too salty to eat.

The delivery driver returned to pick it up and when Rachael posted unfavourab­le comments online, Sabur quickly retaliated by text.

The 31-year-old, of Dunfermlin­e, admitted behaving in a threatenin­g or abusive manner on May 28. Dev Kapadia, prosecutin­g, said: “The customer complained that the meal was too salty.

The messages included, “I know your address”, “Stupid motherf **** r” and “dumb f***”.

Rachael called police and when they dialled the number the texts were sent from, Sabur answered.

He then hung up and dialled 101 to make a complaint about Rachael. He later told police: “I’m sorry. I was a bit hot-headed.”

Sheriff Chris Shead fined Sabur £500.
