ACCRINGTON gave their survival hopes a huge boost with a helping hand from Port Vale keeper Jack Stevens.
Stevens dropped Liam Coyle’s cross behind the line for a 31st minute own-goal with Stanley completing the win with a Harvey Rodgers strike and Aaaron Pressley penalty while Vale’s Funso Ojo was sent off for violent conduct in added time.

JACK LANKESTER put Cambridge on course for the win that moves them to within three points of safety after back to back victories.
Lankester struck after just three minutes and the U’s doubled their lead when Sam Smith scored from the spot early in the second half.
Fleetwood’s Junior Quitirna replyed in the 82nd minute but it came too late.

CAMERON BRANNAGAN salvaged a crucial point for Oxford as Sheffield Wednesday dropped to third after a sixth game without a win.
The Owls appeared on course for the points when Barry Bannan curled in a superb 35th minute opener.
But then Brannagan levelled from the penalty spot after Marcus Browne had tripped Akin Famewo.

But Nicky Cadden gave the visitors hope of a late fightback with an 89th-minute reply.

MOHAMED EISA salvaged a valuable point for struggling Milton Keynes against a Portsmouth side reduced to 10 men following Joe Morrell’s first-half red card.
Connor Oglivie gave Pompey a 14th minute lead but the vistors lost Morrel after a clash with Daniel Harvie and MK took advantage when Eisa slotted home the 65th-minute leveller.

Posh pulled away as Mason-Clark and Jack Taylor were both on target after the break.
