DIER: THERE’S NO STOPPING THE SPURS EXPRESS
TOTTENHAM midfielder Eric Dier reckons his team-mates’ belief in each other has made them unstoppable.
The north Londoners have reduced Chelsea’s 13-point title advantage to just four going into the final six games of the season.
Spurs also have an FA Cup semi-final clash against Antonio Conte’s side at Wembley on Saturday.
Dier said: “Our belief has made us unstoppable. We have to believe to the end.
“We will be aiming to win all our remaining matches – we will give everything on the pitch to win our games.
“Then it depends on the other teams.
“But we work a lot for each other. When you add our teamwork to our quality, that makes us very hard to stop.”
Tottenham have won seven consecutive league games – the first time the club have pulled off such a feat in half a century.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side also boast the best defence in the country and remain undefeated at White Hart Lane this season in all competitions. Dier added: “The fans are very happy with us and our work – the players are giving everything.
“We have a fantastic young manager, we have young players, and we will have a new stadium, too.
“Everything we have has been going for us. So we are very optimistic.”
