..grow up & stop the rack flack

- POLLY HUDSON

AS human beings we have made technological leaps no one would have imagined, evolved further than our ancestors could have dreamt and achieved miracles previously considered impossible.

And yet, in 2021, some of us still cannot cope with seeing the corner of someone’s boob.

If the complaints made to Ofcom about Holly Willoughby’s Dancing On Ice dress were taken by a person, rather than a machine, the temptation to scream “GROW UP” before slamming the phone down must have been immense.

The next day, it was Susanna Reid getting flack for her rack. The one piece of breaking news she is guaranteed never to have had to announce is that women have breasts. Everyone knows that. So why go so crazy over a bit of cleavage?

also Holly’s gown for teatime. Therefore, are we to assume that there is a specific window – somewhere around noon, perhaps – when it is fine?

A magical time, not too early, not too late, but just right, to show their Goldilumps?

Sorry – to show the vaguest edge of their Goldilumps.

Maya Jama, another woman who has been unfairly criticised, said: “I am able and allowed to dress how

I please. If you feel uncomfortable by my boobs sitting in my dress then that’s on you.”

In summary: there’s an awful lot to be upset about in the world at the moment.

None of it is what some women have chosen to wear, so grow up.
