‘Conman plot to sell Manson deathbed pic’

A PICTURE purportedly of Charles Manson on his deathbed was mocked up as part of a plot to deceive the Daily Mirror.

The supposed taker of the photo claimed to work at Kern Medical, California, where Manson died on November 19.

The man offered to sell our reporter the picture, and we asked him to prove his identity and provide details of his employment.

He said he had seen Manson in bed, as part of his duties collecting waste at the hospital, and took the photo on his phone.

Yesterday, as the Mirror was informed the picture had been Photoshopped, the man still insisted it was a genuine photo and asked for cash. We apologise for the misleading image. THIS Morning host Holly Willoughby and her TV producer husband have received nearly £1million from their media company, figures reveal.

Holly and Dan Baldwin took the payment from Roxy Media, which they run together, Companies House documents show. TV star Holly, 36, who owns 80% of the shares, will get £760,000, leaving Dan with £190,000. The accounts also reveal that the couple paid themselves £1.3million from the media company last year. But Holly’s earnings could be considerably higher as it is not known if the figures include her This Morning salary. She also co-presents Dancing On Ice and appears on Celebrity Juice.
