IoAn gruffudd has filed a restraining order against his estranged wife Alice evans.

Court documents show the Welsh film star, 48, wants Miss evans to stay 100 yards away from him and his new girlfriend Bianca Wallace, and not be allowed to contact them.

In the filing, gruffudd made a string of allegations against his former partner, including that she ‘threatened to tell people I had abused her and our daughters’ and do to him ‘what Amber heard did to Johnny Depp’.

the comment refers to the highprofile and bitter court battle between actress Miss heard and Depp after she accused the hollywood A-lister of abuse.

Miss evans, 53, who has daughters ella, 12, and elsie, eight, with gruffudd, confirmed their separation in a string of furious tweets posted last January.

gruffudd filed for divorce in March last year, citing irreconcilable differences. the collapse of the 14-year marriage has been described as hollywood’s most vicious and bitter bust-up.

Miss evans has documented their divorce proceedings on social media, claiming that Australian actress Miss Wallace, 29, ‘ruined her life’ and ‘makes my kid cry’. She also branded her the ‘stealer of my husband’.

In the filing, gruffudd claimed that after he told his wife he was unhappy in their relationship in August 2020 she repeatedly told him that if he left her ‘she would make false public accusations about me, sell false stories about me to the Press, and destroy me and my career’. the filing adds: ‘[Miss evans] threatened to call the police on me if I did not comply with her demands; she threatened to tell people I am a drug addict and put me in prison; she threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim, and to have the diary published; and she threatened to destroy my mother. Alice told me she would win, and everyone would believe her over me.’

gruffudd also claimed Miss evans sent ‘hundreds’ of abusive emails, texts and video calls and made ‘false and harassing’ posts about him on social media.

he claimed that in one message Miss evans promised to ‘raise hell’. She also allegedly told him that his face and body were ‘hideous to me’ and that he was a ‘very weak father, incapable of love’.

In her 19-page response, Miss evans defended herself against all the claims and said the filing was ‘clearly a ploy by [gruffudd] to obtain an unfair advantage during our dissolution proceedings’.

She claimed her ex was ‘trying to set some type of record that I am a horrible mother’. She added: ‘I have been besides myself terrified that he will stop at nothing to hurt me emotionally and financially, and more alarming, try to take our children away from me.’
