‘How Megxit has left Kate tired and taking on double duties’
Duchess angry and exhausted over huge workload, says friend
THE Duchess of Cambridge is said to have been left furious after Harry and Meghan quit as Royals, it was claimed yesterday.
The departure means Kate and William now have a much bigger workload – and less time for their children – according to friends.
One of them told society magazine Tatler: “Meghan and Harry have been so selfish.
“William and Catherine really wanted to be hands-on parents, and the Sussexes have effectively thrown their three children under a bus. There goes their morning school runs as the responsibilities on them now are enormous.”
Last night sources at Buckingham Palace dismissed the claims. An official spokesman declined to comment.

Kate, 38, appears on the cover of the new issue of Tatler, which features interviews with a series of her friends. The profile piece has been written by royal author and former Daily Express writer Anna Pasternak.
It highlights how Kate and William, 37, have taken a leading role during the coronavirus crisis on behalf of the Royal Family. In particular they have been paying attention to mental health issues.
They have also been volunteering and home-schooling their children George, six, Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Louis at their Norfolk retreat, Anmer Hall.
A good friend told Tatler: “Kate knows what the country needs and wants. Championing how to raise your children is perfect.”
But another source said: “Kate is furious about the larger workload. Of course she’s smiling and dressing appropriately but she doesn’t want this.
“She feels exhausted and trapped. She’s working as hard as a top CEO, who has to be wheeled out all the time, without the benefits of boundaries and plenty of holidays.”
Speaking of the differences between Kate and the Duchess of Sussex, one insider said: “In the Palace, you hear numerous stories of the staff saying so-and-so is a nightmare and behaves badly but you never hear that about Kate.”
Another courtier said: “Kate keeps her staff whereas Meghan doesn’t. Doesn’t that say everything?”
Meanwhile a young member of the royal set said about Kate: “She has a ruthless survival streak, just like the House of Windsor. It’s why she is so well suited. She keeps her head down because the prize of being queen is so great.
“She models herself on the Queen and now speaks like the Queen.
