Ben feels better after ice scream
THE SCOUT tournament, fearing he would clutter up the place.
“I’m away enough so I stayed at home with the family. I watched one of the games with dad – fairly low key,” said Youngs, speaking on behalf of Land Rover at Market Harborough RFC.
“I have been able to spend some real quality time with my family and it has been refreshing.
“At that stage I was in a brace, sleeping in it, in it 24/7, and I was on crutches – I couldn’t really do a lot so I would have been completely in the way had I been down at Pennyhill.
“There was not a lot I could have done so no point in doing that. A lot of the boys, when they are rehabbing, come down but I was at no stage to – it would have made no sense.” If fit, Youngs will return to a buoyant Leicester team who have won five on the bounce in the Premiership and lifted themselves to third in the table with three games of the regular season left before the play-offs.
“It’s about being there at the end and at the moment it’s in our hands. Then you go to a semi-final and anything can happen,” said Youngs.
“As long as we give ourselves a position with a chance of a semi, that’s the main objective in the next few weeks, to make sure we win the next three games and be in the mix at the end.” ●LAND ROVER are the Official Vehicle Partner of Premiership Rugby.
