Rachael runs her jewellery business, Simply Sparkle Jewellery, while also working fulltime as an administration team leader for a haulage company.

“We both agree that our main focus in this is to always keep our stand prices low, whether we hold another one or 100 wedding fairs.

“I want small independent businesses to have the opportunity to get their businesses out there, just like I’m trying to do with mine.”

Their next event takes place on Sunday, September 17 at Ansty Golf Club. Stand prices average around £30.

We also want to dispel any misconceptions people might have about hospice care.

This year we have to raise £8.8 million to continue providing our care free-of-charge. For every £1 raised, we spend 86p directly on services for patients and their loved ones.

Last year we supported more than 1,400 people and their families, in our three hospices, through our patient and family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.

We care for people aged 18 years and over living in Coventry and Warwickshire with a wide range of lifelimiting illnesses.

All are welcome at Myton – family, friends, and even the pet dog!

Around 40 per cent of patients are discharged from Myton after a stay in our Inpatient Unit.

We are the only hospice providing inpatient beds in Coventry and Warwickshire. We also know how important it is for families to stay close ■■WE are delighted to be the charity partner at Sainsbury’s on Trinity Street for the next year!
