My day in style: Sam Faiers

-

MORNING 7AM: My little girl, Rosie, two, is my alarm. She gets up around 7am every day, which means I do as well! We’ll then head downstairs for breakfast. 8AM: I normally whip up some scrambled eggs for Rosie. A little later, Paul Jr, three, wakes up and I’ll do the same for him. After they’ve eaten, I’ll let them play in the toy room.

9.30AM: My breakfast normally involves avocado and eggs, or my favourite, which is a cheese and ham omelette with chilli.

After I’ve eaten, I’ll get the kids ready.

11AM: I used to do the whole grab-an-outfit for the day thing, but you can’t do that with kids or when we’re filming The Mummy

Diaries. So when I get my schedule for the week, I’ll just work out with my stylist what I’ll be wearing. Now we’ve finished filming, it’s a relief as I don’t have to worry and I can just go back to wearing gym wear. My favourite brands are Sweaty Betty and Lululemon.

AFTERNOON 12PM: After we’re all dressed, and I’ve thrown on some knitwear and jeans, we’ll head out for the day. Rosie loves horse riding, so I’ll take her to that, or we go to a kids’ show locally. Most weeks, I’ll go back to Essex to see Billie and the kids [Sam and her family moved to Hertfordshire in 2017]. Or sometimes I’ll take the children to London and have a day out there, or an overnight stay as a treat.

1PM: As a mum, I always need to have a big handbag on me to carry a mix of my things and stuff for the kids. I have snacks and drinks for them, and lip gloss, bronzer, my trusty Dr Hauschka hand cream and a lip balm for me – I can’t go anywhere without them!

2PM: I like to cook something healthy for lunch, such as spag bol, so the kids can eat it too. I’m always hungry and like something to snack on. I think it’s because I burn so much energy.

EVENING 6PM: On the rare occasion I go on a date night, or out with the girls, I like to make an effort. I love a midi dress and heels, and now it’s nearly Christmas I’ll be wearing something with sequins from my Quiz collection. I’ll get my hair blow-dried and I’ll wear my favourite NARS Longwear Foundation

7PM: On a normal night, I’ll cook a healthy meal for all of us, and the kids will go to bed around 7pm. The evenings are the only time I get to myself. And as I don’t watch much TV, I’ll go and have a bath and pamper myself. I’m really into my skincare and love using Rodial Vitamin C Moisturiser and Johnson’s Make-up Wipes.

9PM: I go to bed around 9pm as I like to get around eight hours sleep. I grab a cute matching PJ set and head straight to bed, then wait for Rosie to wake me up in the morning.
