RAMS RATINGS

-

KELLE ROOS 5

His heavy touch when Derby tried to play out from a goal kick gifted the ball to Bournemouth for their equaliser. Poor mistake, poor goal. Steady second half and showed good handling on a couple of occasions. Made an important save late on.

FESTY EBOSELE 7

Showed power and desire throughout. A strong all-round performance and received a standing ovation when he was replaced late on.

PHIL JAGIELKA 7

Defended solidly against a good Bournemouth team.

CURTIS DAVIES 7

Was involved in the poor goal conceded that saw Bournemouth make it 1-1, but stuck to his task defensivly.

LEE BUCHANAN 7

The left-back showed plenty of determination in his defensive work and attacking work.

MAX BIRD 7

Looked to get on the ball whenever he could and keep it moving. Add to that his hard work off the ball.

GRAEME SHINNIE 7

Had a good chance just before the break but fired his shot over. Typically hard-working display and won Derby’s penalty.

LIAM THOMPSON 7

A confident, promising League debut from the 19-year-old midfielder. Tenacious in his work, neat on the ball and kept it simple. Not afraid to run with the ball and put opponents on the back foot.

JASON KNIGHT 8

Bags of energy, running and determination, and headed the Rams in front with his first goal of the season.

TOM LAWRENCE 8.5

Outstanding in the second half, played a real captain’s role. He scored a brilliant goal to make it 2-2, a top-drawer finish, exquisite, and then kept his nerve to convert a penalty to put his team ahead.

SAM BALDOCK 6

A bright start from the striker but injury foced him off after 22 minutes.

SUBSTITUTES

COLIN KAZIM-RICHARDS (for Baldock, 22) 6

Added presence to the Derby attack and went close with a header in the second half. RICHARD STEARMAN (for Ebosele, 83) 6

CRAIG FORSYTH (for Buchanan, 90+5)
