Jennifer Ellison has totally transformed herself after shedding a shocking 3 stone
She has always struggled a bit with her weight, but now Jennifer Ellison has been proudly showing off her transformation after losing 3st. The 34-year-old shared a skinny snap in a tight black strapless top and trousers, alongside a pic of herself previously, captioned, 3 stone gone!!!
The former Brookside actress, who runs a dance studio, kick-started her weight-loss journey on ITV’s Sugar Free Farm last year, where she admitted she was a ‘yo-yo dieter’ with a very sweet tooth.
The pretty Dance Mums star, founder of Jelli Dance Studios in Liverpool, confessed while on the reality TV show that she drank up to eight cans of cola a day.
Speaking after the show, the mum-of-three said, ‘I weighed 14st when we started filming, and since leaving the farm I’m down to 121/ 2st.
‘I’d like to be a size 10 again, but I’m planning to do it gradually. I’m not putting any pressure on myself. My body has given me three gorgeous, healthy boys – I’m proud of it.’
She’s had the help of her husband, Robbie Tickle, and personal trainer Tony Swift, who helped overhaul her diet.
Tony said, ‘ We train five times a week and do a mix of high-intensity interval training, strength and power workouts, which is for weight loss and toning.
‘Every single workout is different. You have always got to keep the body guessing.
‘ Weightlifting, ball slams, burpees, planks, abs… ’
Jen, following her personal trainer’s regime to the letter, has managed to go from 14st 2lb to 10st 7lb, with fans calling her an ‘inspiration’.
She’s also lost an incredible 23in of body fat and has trimmed down her waist from 34cm to 30cm.
But she was criticised for the picture – with fans questioning if she had digitally altered it to look thinner.
However, there’s no disputing she really has slimmed down. And we think she looks great!
