Fly man Neil top of the rods

SPRINGWATER FISHERY Fly loch is fishing better now the water is cooling down.

Top rod went to Neil Shankland who released 49 fish including one of 11lb. Neil had a second visit and released 10.

Another great catch went to Derek Russell who released 46.

Bait loch also picking up some catches. Coarse loch quiet but still catching carp and good bags of roach. Bob Goodwin had a catch of roach and Chubb weighing 35lb. BURNS TROUT FISHERY Winners of the PGLA open pairs were Joe Savage ( 0) ( bait) and Campbell McKellar ( 0) bait with eight fish for 18lb 1oz. A total 58 fish were caught.
