Bands will go down a Storm at Concert Hall

- Michael Reynolds

No matter where you are this weekend, you’ll find some fantastic live music.

WinterStorm will keep Troon rocking with top acts such as Ricky Warwick and The Fighting Hearts and FM bringing their heavy sound to the town’s Concert Hall.

Prestwick offers a fantastic doubleheader with The Wick Weekender featuring a host of top local acts.

In Kilmarnock, Primal Scream’s soldout gig at the Grand Hall is an undoubted highlight – but smaller venues still boast impressive performances with The Cureheads performing at The Bellfield Tavern on Saturday, while the Lift Shaft Incident take to the stage at the Rock Hard Cafe on the same night.

On Sunday night, Kilmarnock’s Grand Hall plays host to the Ayrshire Hospice’s annual Light Up A Life concert, raising money for families living with cancer.

And in Stewarton, former Inspiral Carpets frontman Tom Hingely performs at Bar51 on Friday evening, with support from Soldier On.
