MAGIC IN THE MALDIVES
THE Foreign Office just gave the go-ahead for Brits to travel to the Maldives without the need for quarantine on return and the islands will be welcoming a new opening in December.
The 52-acre Siyam World is described as a multi-experiential resort on a natural island.
It is surrounded by a 1.5km reef teeming with aquatic life, and there are 33 dive sites nearby.
Guests can enjoy pool bars framed by lush vegetation, and a wide range of accommodation including beach villas with open-air bathrooms, overwater villas and The Palace – an impressively large villa which sleeps up to 18 adults and is perfect for celebrating that special occasion.
There are 12 restaurants and bars, including Fresh, a new offering specialising in raw and organic bites. From £450 (for two), per night, sunsiyam.com
