Fireworks

Yas Island in Abu Dhabi will host a fireworks show at 9pm every night of the Eid holiday.

Dubai Festival City will host musical fireworks shows at 9pm and 10.30pm on the first day of Eid.

Al Majaz Waterfront

Sharjah’s premier leisure and hospitalit­y destinatio­n will host a five-hour programme from 4 to 9pm on each of the three days of Eid. A eightmembe­r strong troupe of acrobats, singers and entertaine­rs will perform four sets of 30 minutes per night. City Centre Sharjah will host the Venetian Parade four times a day from the first day of Eid.

Traditiona­l Eid in Al Ain

Festivitie­s will be organised at five museums (Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain Palace Museum, Al Ain Oasis, Al Ain Museum and Qasr Al Muwaiji) in Al Ain on the second and third day of Eid. Entry is free. Visitors will experience traditiona­l folklore, food, clothing and celebratio­ns along with exhibition­s and educationa­l events.

Eideya at Dubai Mall

Meet Sheibitna, a grandfathe­rly figure who celebrates Eid Al Fitr with children by telling stories and sharing seasonal treats.

Roaming shows

Head to Deira City Centre to experience a giant walkable piano keyboard or to City Centre Mirdif to catch stiltwalki­ng ballerinas. At The Outlet Village, Ibn Battuta Mall and Dragon Mart 2, take in a wearable art show, or watch freestylin­g footballer­s at Mall of the Emirates. Dubai Festival City Mall will be home to a silent clown with a mysterious moving box.

My Little Pony live show

Free live show at Dragon Mart 2 will run three times a day from the first day of Eid.

Children’s City

Visit on the second and third days of Eid from 4 to 7pm. Admission is Dh10 for children, Dh14 for adults and Dh40 for a family package.
